Book borrowing- September 2026
Dear everyone,
Welcome to Clyde if it is your first time being with us, and welcome back to our returning families – it’s going to be a great year.
I wanted to let you know that all the dates for this next year are on our website www.clydenurseryschool.co.uk – we may add more dates across the year and will send out reminders by text nearer the time.
Book Borrowing
We are really pleased to be able to start loaning books to families once again.
We know that when children are read to or have the opportunity to listen to stories, their language and understanding really develops and this will have a great impact on their learning and progress.
We have bought cloth bags for the children which they are going to be decorating over the next couple of weeks. Please use these to carry your books – you can change books every day or once a week – whatever you prefer.
We will also be going on trips to the library at Deptford Lounge. You can also loan books from here free of charge and to join the library you just need to take in proof of address.
You child’s key worker will be able to give you more information about choosing books and advise you about reading with your child if you need it.
With all best wishes
