Traditionally, Clyde has raised money for the BBC Children in Need appeal in November, and children and staff have dressed up.
This year, we would like to do something different on Tuesday 18th and Friday 21st November. Staff will be dressed up as well and we will have lots of fun activities.
We would still like everyone to dress up – fancy dress, odd socks or pyjamas is fine – please do not buy anything to wear!
Please bring in some change – pennies or whatever you feel happy to donate and place them in our pots in the front office.
This time we would like to support two of our local organisations which help families in our own community.
One of the charities is the Evelyn Parents’ Forum who run Moira’s Place in the Deptford Park Play Club. They run fun play sessions for children under 5 and it is open to everyone from 9.30am-2pm.
The second is Bench Outreach who are a local organization supporting homeless people. Dave is our Benefits and Housing Advisor and many of our families have benefitted from seeing him over the years one a Thursday morning. Dave works for Bench and they have kindly provided this service at Clyde for many years. We would very much like to say thank you to them as we know he has made a huge difference for many families.
