Greenwich Park Picnic-4 July 2025
Dear everyone,
Greenwich Park Picnic
This will be on Friday July 4th and nursery will be closed on that day so that everyone can attend. You are welcome to come and meet with us at nursery and travel with us, or come and meet us at the park if you prefer. Staff will be leaving here at 9.30am and travelling by bus to the park. We will be setting up camp next to the play park, near the main entrance and boating pond and aim to be there around 10am.
You are welcome to come and go from the park as you like. You can come for the whole time, for a little while or just for lunch – it’s entirely up to you! There will be staff on all the gates into the play park and of course they will come and play with you and your child whenever they can.
You will need,
- - Food and drinks for you and your child – there is a small kiosk in the play park (a packed lunch will be provided for children who are eligible for free school meals)
- - Something to sit on
- - Sun cream, hat and clothing which allows your child to be able to play and keep cool
- - A little bit of money in case you’d like to get ice creams or coffee!
Staff will stay at the park until around 2.30pm.
You are more than welcome to bring your other children and family members with you.
It’s a great day and a lovely way to celebrate the school year.
Nursery is back open as usual on Monday July 7th.
