Monday July 10th 2023
Dear everyone
International Day
Our celebrations will start at 1.30 – 3pm on Friday July 14th. Please note that there will not be any nursery for part time children on that day – full timers will be here as normal. All part time children and their families are welcome to come and join us at 1.30 – parents will need to stay with their children for the whole time. We would love to see you in your party clothes or traditional clothing if you would like to.
Greenwich Park Picnic
This will be on Wednesday July 19th and nursery will be closed on that day so that everyone can attend. You are welcome to come and meet with us at nursery and travel with us, or come and meet us at the park if you prefer. Staff will be leaving here at 9.30am and travelling by bus to the park. We will be setting up camp next to the play park, near the main entrance and boating pond and aim to be there around 10am.
You are welcome to come and go from the park as you like. You can come for the whole time, for a little while or just for lunch – it’s entirely up to you! There will be staff on all the gates into the play park and of course they will come and play with you and your child whenever they can.
You will need,
- - Food and drinks for you and your child – there is a small kiosk in the play park (a packed lunch will be provided for children who are eligible for free school meals)
- - Something to sit on
- - Sun cream, hat and clothing which allows your child to be able to play and keep cool
- - A little bit of money in case you’d like to get ice creams or coffee!
Staff will stay at the park until around 2.30pm. Families can come and go as you like so please don’t feel that you have to stay and travel with us. You are more than welcome to bring your other children and family members with you.
It’s a great day and a lovely way to celebrate the school year.
Nursery is open as usual on Thursday July 20th.
With all best wishes
