Early Years Teaching Assistant required from September 2022

Temporary from 01 September 2022 – 21 July 2023

Scale 3,  Term Time Only, 31.25 hours/week. Monday - Friday 8:45-15:45

Clyde Nursery School is an outstanding, diverse, inner-city Maintained Nursery School for 2-4-year olds. We have a strong commitment to inclusive practice and an excellent reputation for community engagement. Our philosophy is that children learn best when they are supported and enabled to explore, investigate and develop their ideas and thinking.

As part of the class team you will support children’s learning and development, take care of any personal needs of children, and provide general support in both our inside and outside learning environments for all children, including those with special educational needs. You will need to be able to work as part of a team as well as have the ability to use your own initiative when responding to the needs of individual and groups of children. You will need to be a strong communicator and have excellent interpersonal skills.

 Our ideal candidate will be able to build positive relationships with children aged 2 – 4 years and be committed to ensuring that all children are able to grow and develop to their full potential. Some experience of working in an Early Years’ setting would be preferable.
